Oh what a fun day it's been... stripping wallpaper trim! I'm a little bushed tonight.

But on to things way more fun: a really cool collaboration between online fabric shops and eBook authors of YouCanMakeThis.com. I have authored three eBooks (Funky Fringe Bling, Fringe Bracelets, and Wire-Wrapping) that are for sale on that site. For this collaboration I made jewelry from two of the eBooks.

I chose two different sets of fabric to match. My favorite one is Amy Butler's "Lotus" collection. Here's a sample of the fabrics:

This weekend's quest of me and my two girls is... clean sweeping bedrooms! There's a third bedroom, too: the stuff-collecting, downstairs guest room. The teenager gets to move to that room, and we have a deadline for getting everything ready! We are hosting a German exchange student, Nicole, from Chemnitz, Germany for three weeks beginning March 16.

Painting starts Monday. Purple, of course :)

One detour today is my younger daughter's first playoff game. If they win they live to play again; if not, that's the end of the season. Kind of a drag because they're just getting the hang of ball handling (it's a first-year team). I do have some action shots but will post them later.
